Apel has continued to grow its manufacturing capabilities with the purchase of two Citizen Cincom L220-VII-LFV sliding head CNC machines. The first machine was installed in March 2024, followed by a second in August 2024.
The L220-VII-LFV machines are designed for high-precision, high-volume production and are capable of machining complex components with excellent accuracy and efficiency. Equipped with Citizen's LFV (Low Frequency Vibration) technology, they provide improved chip control, longer tool life, and more consistent machining performance.
The addition of these two machines has increased Apel's production capacity, helping the company to meet growing customer demand while maintaining the high quality and reliability expected from its precision-machined components.
This investment is part of Apel's ongoing commitment to modern manufacturing, ensuring the business continues to deliver efficient production, competitive lead times, and exceptional service to customers across a wide range of industries.
